Dr. Phil "Brat Camp": When There's So Many One-Side Comments

Image
I may not be happy with how Dr. Phil handles men's right to self-defense. I also looked into this video of Brat Camp . I recall watching the full episode a decade ago, which may have been taken down. There were also some clips on Dr. Phil's website (which I believe were taken down) that also involve Wendy's need to let go of her daughter. One of the mothers mentioned Noah's possible fear that his mother may have wished he died instead of his sister (or I think, paternal half-sister ) died instead of him.  As I look at the video, it gets irritating on both sides. I refuse to side with the child and the mother. I couldn't be certain what really happened. I found Wendy's now outdated blog (wondering what she does now). How reliable is her story ? I read it and it doesn't seem to contain an exaggeration.  However, as I watched this video, there seemed to be a contradiction. Noah says that his father treats him with respect. However, Wendy mentions this, which ma...

Leftist Double Standards Unveiled by a YouTuber?

Image
It's crazy when a regular civilian talks more sense than the American mass media. The video I watched brought me to the Jordan Neely incident. This was also the video that had me thinking about leftists who think "CEOs are evil and they have the easiest job in the world!" People who say no billionaire has worked as hard as the water, don't realize that the more money one has, the heavier the responsibility.  While listening to this commentary, I was curious and Googled "Jordan Neely". It turned out that the homeless man was a criminal . Times Now reveals this staggering detail: Neely had 43 prior arrests between 2013 and 2021 , according to the authorities. Four alleged assaults, transportation fraud, and trespassing were among the charges. Additionally, he has an ongoing warrant for an assault in 2021. Low-level violations like public drinking were the subject of several arrests. The NYPD came under fire for making Neely's medical and criminal records ...

The Case of Elliot Eastman: Why Flexing on the Internet Can Be DOWNRIGHT DEADLY

Image
I was looking at Elliot Eastman's case. Is he already the late Elliot Eastman? According to one of the suspects, it seems so. Has Elliot become the case of a body never found murder? Elliot may have become like the presumed late Jacqueline Jimenea Chiong or the late Helle Crafts (read here ). As I was listening to this, one can think that Elliot may be dead with the body never found . GMA Regional TV gives this information which hints that Elliot may be dead: The Police Regional Office-Zamboanga (PRO-9) on Thursday, December 5, 2024, said American content creator Elliot Eastman who was abducted in Sibuco, Zamboanga del Norte may already be dead based on accounts of a witness and one of the suspects. PRO-9 said the “Critical Incident Management Task Group (CIMTG) Eastman” has obtained information from a witness that Eastman died the night of his abduction on October 17, 2024. Police said that according to the witness, Eastman sustained two gunshot wounds after he tried to resist wh...

I Tried Listening to This and I'm Even More Convinced Woke Stupidity, NOT Capitalism, Ruined San Francisco

Image
Sometimes some YouTubers may be making more sense than the news. Misha Petrov's commentary on San Francisco is backed up by the news. As I listened to her and her male companion, the two really got into gritty details. I'm already grossed out by animal feces, how much more of it's human feces? The descriptions in this video aren't pleasant to think about. Instead, I had to put away whatever I was eating or drinking when I was watching and listening to this video. Not even the pretty girl's face could ease away my disgust while hearing the disgusting truth that needed to be said! Some people would blame, "Capitalism did it! We need socialism!" I wonder if the people who said it know why Vietnam has better peace and order as a socialist state? Instead, we need to look at what's tolerated and what's not. It's because the "Don't do this and don't do that." ultimately affects how most people will behave. This article from the Washi...

Got Interested in Mexico, Pampanga, after Eating at La Salsa Fil-Mex Cantina

Image
After eating at La Salsa Fil-Mex Cantina (the restaurant is from Zamboanga), I suddenly became interested in Mexico, Pampanga. I find the food delicious and I want to eat more of their dishes. Someone cooks sisig and I would think of chimichanga or burrito. Sisig is a pork dish made from the muscles of the pig's head. I looked into a Mexican menu and found the word barbacoa, which sounds like balbacua . I got into a conversation with a Mexican tourist. The Philippines was a Spanish colony. Spanish influence would be more prevalent in Luzon and Visayas than in Mindanao. Not all of Mindanao was conquered by Spain.  I looked into the history of Mexico, Pampanga, from the official website : That the town of Mexico was said to have been founded in the year 1581. In the book of a certain Fr. Buzeta, conquerors arrived in this town in small boats coming from the south landing in a bushy place now called San Jose Matulid. But according to Augustininan records, the town was probably founded...

When a YouTuber Makes More Sense Than Most Americans

Image
I was subscribed to Misha Petrov's YouTube. I don't agree with her on everything. However, this video really shows America's wrong priorities . Did you read that right? Why is America offering help and advice to other countries, when it can't fix its problems ? Why is money that's supposedly for the citizens first given to illegal immigrants and other countries instead?  As I listened to this video--the problem is that the American government is that it doesn't know when not to get involved. Why get involved with other countries if they can't fix their own side first? It's good for America to provide help and advice. However, America's credibility is shrunk as it gets. Why meddle with politics in any country when politics in America can get questionable.  As I was looking at this video of San Francisco's decline (and some fools blame capitalism over woke attitudes)--can I truly take advice from America? Taking advice from America for national imp...

"What Jennifer Did" is a Complex Crime Documentary Involving One Insane Daughter and Her Insane Parents

Image
Business Insider A Netflix documentary named What Jennifer Did shows the darker side of Asian parenting. Yes, Jennifer Pan is guilty but what caused it to happen. Jennifer was from an overly demanding Canadian Vietnamese family. She had a secret boyfriend named Daniel Wong (who was into drug dealing). These overly strict tiger parents only created a monster. Indeed, indulgent parents get nowhere. However, these harsh parents caused their daughter to also become a monster. If so, did they have it coming to them ?   If I moved to Canada, maybe I would've had a crush on Jennifer as a teenager if I knew her personally. She has the image of an intelligent woman. Maybe, my own parents would think having parents-in-law as crazy as hers would be beneficial. I was looking into the video and said, "Oh my! What a waste of a woman!" I did some research on this topic to find out how her parents are plain crazy and they probably deserved their own daughter's backlash. I'm not t...

The Case of Helle Crafts Murder Would Show Why DNA Testing is VERY IMPORTANT

Image
I wrote an essay discussing if both Jacqueline Jimenea Chiong and Marijoy Jimenea Chiong were victims of a body never found murder case . Let me be clear that I still believe that I still believe the body found in Tan-awan, Carcar, was really Marijoy's and Jacqueline's really dead but her body was never found. The claim made by Enrique Uy of this first-degree cousin of the Chiong mother should be put into question . I once reasoned out, "The other body was never found." I was told to try looking into Helle Craft's case. It makes me think, "What if this is what happened to Jacqueline?" I even remember the speculation that Jacqueline may have been woodchipped?" I can't prove my speculation but if her body was, that may explain why the other body was never found. In other cases, the body would be too decomposed by now . The body found in Carcar was later moved out of its burial site to be cremated.  In the case of Helle, this information from Histo...

Amis Tribal Feelings Dance

Image
This is another fun tribal dance video. I guess my obsession with Taiwanese milk tea (and the tea leaves are grown from Mt. Alishan) got me into this. Also, the tea brand Tealive (which is a Malaysian brand) got me more interested in this video.  Using Google translate, the song title "部落情懷" (Bùluò qínghuái) means "Tribal Feelings". It's a good thing to have Google translate these days especially when one is trying to learn the Chinese language.

Amis Courtship Dance

Image
Here's another of the Amis culture in Taiwan. This is almost a sight that one can behold among the aborigines in Nueva Ecija or Baguio. Just looking at the resemblance between the Taiwanese natives and Filipino natives makes me think, "Filipino culture isn't too unique."  With my stand that the Taiwanese natives are actually of Malay origin - I'm not surprised at the similarity here and there.

Would Police-Hating Wokes Dare Call Criminals If Ever They Become Victims of Crime?

Image
I did write about defunding the police a day ago . The big question worth asking to police-hating wokes is what's their justification behind hating police officers? Was it because an abusive police officer and the death of an innocent civilian? We do need to know the function of the police first. Whether those wokes want to admit it or not--the police is just as important as healthcare. In a crime scenario, the police officers apprended the crooks and healthcare takes care of the victims. The police officers might even be required to guard the hospital if ever a high profile victim of a crime is in danger. A vital state witness is protected because the criminal group he or she defected from may want to kill him for her.  Yet, no matter how you try to argue about the function of the police, these guys are going to start screaming all over. I guess not even the American Bar Association  can convince them why we need a police force to keep society safe. They woud say stuff like, ...

Better Think Twice Before Defunding the Police

Image
There are stupid people on Facebook who always say, "Defund the police!" Think about defunding the police? Well, this video from San Francisco shows just how "wonderful" society can get when you defund the police. The call to defund the police has been called because of abusive cops . I'm not going to deny that there are abusive cops. However, the profession of a policeman as well as the government having the function of police is another. Are we going to abolish the government entirely because of some corrupt politicians?  We need to get the facts straight about what happens when the police is defunded . Those who are calling to abolish the police have no idea what they're getting themselves into. Yet, we've got fools such as the gossiping Facebook page, the Philippine Anti-Fascist League (which I heard is spearheaded by a bitter youth and some rebellious youths) even made this very stupid diagram... The police are needed to protect all the cups. Don...

When July 4 Goes from Philippine Independence Day to Philippine-American Friendship Day

Image
I remembered back in Civics and Culture class when it was taught that July 4 was originally a holiday. Instead, it was moved to June 12. July 4, 1946, became the end of the Commonwealth Government of America. Think about it like it was the handover of the British of Hong Kong back to the Chinese government. I remembered there was a one-time holiday when July 4 had no classes because it was Philippine-American friendship day. The Americans freely gave the Philippines its independence from the Commonwealth. However, the Philippines did become a republic on June 12, 1998. I did remember celebrating the centennial celebration of the founding of the Philippines. It was in 1962 when the late Diosdado Macapagal, the father of Representative Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo, issued Proclamation No. 28 . It's because it was in 1898 when the Philippines managed to gain independence from Spain and declare a republic . For a time, the Philippines fell under American control but not without having decla...
