"Animal" (2004): A Controversial Satire Against the Chiong Sister Case Inconsistencies [Warning: Read at Your Own Discretion]

After many years of self-studying the Chiong Sisters Case , I have written several entries on the matter. In fact, I created what I call an "almost-ever-updating" review on Give Up Tomorrow , which was a documentary that challenged my views. I was hesitant to write this review, as it involves another sensitive issue. Some time later, I wrote an entry discussing another aspect of the Chiong Case, specifically  the issue of the late Federico "Toto" Natividad Jr. himself . I always thought it was an unethical issue. However, I was able to watch the film on YouTube (via a poor quality upload), and it doesn't seem that anyone from Natividad's estate is interested in fighting for the film's right to be distributed , not especially that Case Unclosed already came out in 2008, now available on GMA-7's official YouTube channel . Kara David did a meticulously good job featuring the Chiong mother, the Uy mother , and even another member of the " Run for Pa...

Possible Insights on Enrique Uy's Claim of a "Phone Call from Canada"

I almost bought the hype that " The Chiong sisters are alive!" However, the pieces of evidence are moot as two private citizens' lives have been disrespected. The rumors started in 2005 but I only knew them decades later (read here ). I was compelled to do some research because the claim is practically too good to be true or too horrible to be true . I heard the claim and decided to do a common-sense analysis . It's time to use further common-sense analysis. I already wrote a related post where I raise its questionability . I find this as problematic as Atty. Harvey Keh 's Anonymous source. I laughed when the late Atty. Miriam Defensor-Santiago, who died after the elections, scathed Keh's "evidence". The feisty senator reminds me of my former high school teacher, who always demanded evidence. To put into application of MDS's scathing sermon (and honestly, the scene reminds me of when my teacher scolded me severely for my misbehavior ), here are ...

Harsh Lessons from the Chiong Sisters Case, from a Nobody's Perspective

July 16, 1997, was when the Chiong sisters, Jacqueline Jimenea Chiong and Marijoy Jimenea Chiong, disappeared. I still believe the body in Carcar was actually Marijoy. Jacqueline may have been the victim of a no-body found murder case (read here ). I don't believe the claims that either one or two sisters are actually hiding in Canada. The proof is still moot at best . It's safe to assume that both have died. I watched Give Up Tomorrow (read here )   and fortunately, GMA-7 had featured their case in Case Unclosed (read here ) , all before the documentary was finished. I've seen both documentaries. However, I may prefer to look into Case Unclosed due to its more direct approach in giving the details. I'm not a lawyer and I don't think I'm fit to handle such cases. However, I've actually talked with some people who personally knew the Chiong Sisters (such as their high school classmates) or someone who personally knew their youngest sister, Debbie Jane Jimenea...
